Look I’m sorry but as a Christian who tries to stay healthy I don’t understand y’all. “Yeah I got blackout drunk and caused some bs last night now I feel horrible” guess what YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO DO ANY OF THAT. Y’all can’t enjoy life without getting drunk

And I realize how autistic this genuinely sounds but fr no excessive drinking: no getting drunk, damaging liver, dui, or even death. No premarital: congrats you practiced restraint for once in your life and don’t have stds/are pregnant/made someone pregnant

But it’s not like me saying anything will do anything so I guess keep being the degenerates you are

“I genuinely don’t understand how ppl want to live their lives differently than mine” -average Christian that can’t conceptualize anybody else not like them

Anonymous 1h ago ▲ 24

It’s not my life you can do what you want but I don’t understand the hype, it’s seems to cause more problems than good, and it’s not a great foundation for a fulfilling healthy life.

Again I believe in a free society but likewise I also have the freedom to speak on how I think we as ADULTS should best be spending our time and I don’t see degeneracy as a great option.

I don’t have the power to judge if I wanted to. But I can recognize sin and I don’t think we as a society should accept living that kind of lifestyle

Falling into degeneracy makes you a degenerate. That isn’t a fixed title although every one of us remains a sinner at the end of the day we can be redeemed through Christ and live a life God intended

I’ll admit I can be a bit Callous but being a Christian doesn’t mean that I hear about all the messed things people do on Friday nights and smile on it because of “acceptance”. The Bible is clear on sinful living and temptations and as a sinner like all of us I aim to throw in my 2 cents based on my understanding of the Bible so that we don’t have to live in a way that is disgraceful to the will of god

Ok great so I’ve commented like 5 times already that I very much understand that I am a sinner but that doesn’t mean I should therefore sit by while all manner of sin takes place just because everyone is a sinner.

Anonymous 42m ago ▼ -1

Yes you are correct on that. I’ll admit that I wrote the degenerates thing in frustration after my previous statements. Living in degeneracy as I said does make a person a degenerate. However outwardly calling others degenerates is not best practice. I do stand by what I said when I started though

And we can also enjoy life while getting drunk.. I will gladly be hungover and bed rest while looking at my Snapchat memories laughing over what me and my friends did the night before

Anonymous 1h ago ▲ 14

btw #galatians6:1 not to be that person but like 🤨

Anonymous 1h ago ▲ 5

My condemnation is on the sin not the sinner. I think falling into degeneracy makes you are degenerate but you can change that. We are all sinners and so as a sinner I want to break off of that and it makes me personally sad to see others lean into their sin. I do apologize if I came off harsh though.

Anonymous 55m ago ▼ -1

Yes I can concede that much my last comment was rude. I still very much stand by the rest of my statements

Anonymous 38m ago ▼ -1

genuinely though why do you care what OTHER people are doing 😭

Anonymous 1h ago ▲ 12

Yeah didn’t realize I’d get this much engagement lol

genuinely, ur not sorry, im ngl having this mentality is draining. there’s no need for u to mention christianity, ur hiding behind religion to go and judge people; people who u don’t even know. stop pretending that ur a good person if u think like this.

Anonymous 1h ago ▲ 6

you can do what you want but making a post essentially shaming people for how they like to experience their life seems a bit contradictory

Anonymous 1h ago ▲ 3

being sorry and live your life but calling people degenerates doesn’t seem very christian of you btw

Anonymous 59m ago ▲ 3

then as #4 said: you aren’t sorry! insulting people and trying to shame them isn’t necessary nor a positive way to help de-influence people! as jesus said: do not judge, or you too will be judged!!

Anonymous 56m ago ▲ 3

you are judging others actively though! you’re making a judgment of their life / forming an opinion especially when you say the words “i think we as a society…”. you can think how you’d like and say what you’d like but don’t say you’re not casting judgement or be less insulting, rude, and careless with it.

Anonymous 50m ago ▲ 3

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone! You, yourself, are not without sin and therefore shouldn’t cast stones on others - I’m not very religious but I do believe Jesus offers forgiveness to people who repent and are willing to forgive others, which you clearly don’t.

Anonymous 47m ago ▲ 3

it’s not an if, you were harsh. you condemned the people part of your community instead of the sin itself, when it’s not your role to do that. “so i guess keep being the degenerate you are” is a terrible way to speak to and about your peers, and i hope you reflect on this mentality because this is not how we or anyone should spread the word of god

Anonymous 41m ago ▲ 5

Nobody is asking you to celebrate or abandon your beliefs. They’re asking you to stop using religion to justify looking down on others. You admit to being callous but somehow assume you’re doing Gods work by insulting others? You can disagree with others without calling them degenerates. Jesus preached compassion and humility, not moral superiority. If your goal is to bring others closer to God, maybe consider why your words sound like condemnation than love!

Anonymous 38m ago ▲ 7

You’re arguing against a point none made. None is asking you to approve of what you consider sin. We’re asking you to realize that calling people degenerates is condemnation. You can stand with your own choices without making it other people’s choices, your own personal responsibility. There’s a difference between guiding people to God and pushing them away with judgement.

Anonymous 35m ago ▲ 3

i appreciate the acknowledgment but i think you’re still missing my point. the issue isn’t outwardly calling people degenerates, it’s the fact you view them that way simply because they make choices that you personally disagree with. you can criticize excessive drinking and still stand by your beliefs without reducing people to their actions or treating them as morally inferior. there’s a difference between healthier choices and passing judgement on their character.

I’m getting my popcorn for this 🥹
