In defense of the fraternities that dropped, the 50/50 pledge rule is making it so literally no one signs up, and it is absolutely killing the event. The other reasoning was that there is no input on the pairings, and the PAIRINGS ARE NOT RANDOM.

The pairings are genuinely decided by 2 people in the ifc that give themselves great stuff and everyone else crap. How do you think dz and beta are paired together every year?

Beta and DZ get paired together every year because there’s a DZ lady on the ifc who makes all the pairings. They aren’t random. It’s fixed.
The one time frats don’t get sdt or dz and they are mad smh
How do you expect the same orgs to get paired together every year and then when you don’t get the org you want then all of a sudden it’s not random.
Never been an issue before the 50/50 pledge rule, charity is losing minimum 30k by whoever’s running it keeping it in place. On them at this point to change it

You’re defending ppl who dropped a charity event. Who gives a flying fuck that the pairings are “rigged” - you just deprived hundreds if not thousands of ppl of resources bc you’re too self absorbed and lazy to figure it out. There’s no defense of it, y’all are lame.
The two running the show didn't put their own orgs with touse, and you're correct that they're not random because you aren't allowed to be with orgs you've been with already in the past few semesters, hence why it was less likely for top to get top
