i had an incident involving alc consumption in dorms and this happened in fall semester 2025. NUPD was called did a wellness check and no medical intervention happened. They left and didn’t hear about it at all and thought they forgot until now as of June. I get a letter saying oh u prohibited these policies from fall semester with the date and now I have to schedule a hearing. but I just don’t understand why they waited so long to contact me and wanted to know if that happened to anyone else.

and i get reports can be backed up but the day after my incident they did a room check and my suitemate had empty bottles of alcohol and they had their meeting in january so ion get why they waited so long to contact me if that incident happened after mine.

well i get that but why did it take them 8 months to contact me. if they were so concerned about my alc consumption u would think they would’ve prioritized this matter over people who just had empty bottles but thank you for ur insight. I appreciate it.
