if you can afford one i HIGHLY recommend getting a kindle scribe. you can put pdfs on it, write directly in all your books, have unlimited notebooks with different layouts, the charge lasts forever, no harsh ipad light, i got it for christmas and LOVE IT

Had a kindle scribe, I would personally recommend a remarkable more, it’s easier to sync to desktop/upload pdf and gets more regular updates
