Does it not rub anyone the wrong way that you pay for classes and when you choose not to show up to the class you paid for you get taxed AGAIN for a participation grade. If I choose to not use the service I pay for why should I be penalized for it?

I agree when it comes to big lecture classes
It’s important if you’re going to grad school. Gotta prove you actually went to class lol
