it’s bc we have much shorter breaks during the yr so they can do summer 1 and 2

but yes. if u have summer 1 and 2 off then yes, it’s very long and quite nice

also it’s so they can accommodate coop students needing to do coop/ then taking classes etc so they ca keep the cycles synced
