my impression is that one side always wants things to get more serious just waiting, and the other takes the arrangement as what it is and by the time the first side detaches and doesnt want anything to do with the other side, person 2 is now attached etc
Two people who regularly have sex with no feelings(fb’s or fwb’s) are completely lying to themselves, just see reality and get together at that point
