genuinely curious if northeastern applications will drop next year
the thing that is so insane to me is the lack of communication. like I am not feeling worried on campus bc I am informed and wary. It is the fact that we have not been told ANYTHING about the details and there are people on campus who still have no idea
right, applications for brown didn’t drop because they handled it properly. the issue isn’t the temporary danger, it’s the way that northeastern hasn’t handled it properly
not to minimize what happened at brown, but there was a separate drive-by shooting on gainsborough wednesday night
it’s just ppl with money getting exposed to the real world
Okay wait but Lille Berklee students are finding out ab this faster than we are and it’s a recurring thing. Of course brown’s shooting was a tragedy, but the series of events playing out rn show more about how much NEU cares to update us and proactively communicates with us which is frustrating. If they were transparent and handled it clearly we wouldn’t be left in the dark. So it’s not the magnitude of the events you can’t even compare how awful that was. But Neu is leaving us in the dark.
