i don’t think we should discount people who are scared to walk around campus when TWO people just got stabbed this week. just because it’s normal somewhere else doesn’t mean it should be normal on a college campus where it should be safe

i’m writing this as someone who lives in an area where stabbings/violence is relatively frequent. yes it’s a city. no violence should not be normalized or downplayed
Not to mention when we pay so much money for tuition and overpriced housing it would be the bare minimum for the campus to at least feel safe
