Is it possible for us to form a union of sorts, or create a valid petition to reduce Aoun’s salary? Pretty insane to me that he’s the highest paid president in all of Mass when there are a plethora of issues with the school, despite our insane tuition.

He does donate 20% of it back to the school if it makes you feel better 😭 it is crazy tho
but he could be paid 1 million dollars and have the extra 2 million go to the school
truth is he gets a huge longevity bonus since he’s been pres 20 years and they want him paid as much as possible to attract a highly qualified successor since he’s retiring soon. it’s a tough decade ahead for leadership in higher ed and northeastern’s bracing for it
