Because ai is dumb, making us dumber, smarter than us, capable of passing 95% of all courses offered here on its own, going to replace us all, realize humans aren’t good for the world and kill us all, data centers are terrible for the environment and the communities surrounding them (which are obviously minority communities and/or poorer areas), it makes energy and computer parts more expensive, it can be incredibly biased, and the list goes on but its easier to hate on it than be a nihilist
