as someone in a frat, statements are performative, should be more concerned with how frats are educating their members and the steps they’re taking to prevent sexual assault to begin with
A statement can do exactly this though? The education of members and steps can be communicated and made transparent so others outside can also hold members accountable beyond the fraternity

Well I don't think it’s the worst idea to put something out there about how you educate your members, l just don't want this to become performative for frats like when everyone was posting a black box on their instagram for BLM
