Don’t login to Canvas rn it won’t work and ur username/password is just being logged

Surely They don’t actually store it since we get redirected to NEU SSO? Not 100% sure but wouldn’t Canvas just get a token saying “yes this person authenticated” every time u log in w/ SSO?

I tried logging in and it constantly prompts me with invalid password, it’s probably a fake UI and the login is just being stored in whoever is responsible for the data breach (it’s not like they could login bc they don’t have SSO but it’s just an extra safety measure)

Yeah i put my real password in and it also said invalid password but they can’t login without my SSO anyway

Yeah, you’re right. I was thinking abt the leaked data (passwords weren’t in it, canvas uses SSO so it never had ours). but yeah if the page itself is fake then a fake login would just grab whatever u type before any redirect
