What sucks the most is putting in a fuck ton of time in studying just to be barely above average in class, and then seeing other students who put in a fraction of what I do, balancing a health social life, and landing high paying jobs at premier companies

usually they're not under financial stress or they have guaranteed nepo work after college. lots of these kids also went to better high schools. it's not that you're not doing enough, it comes down to privilege
