I think the not insecure thing to do is just leave the default and worry about more important things in your life
I agree, i was just thinking about how people perceive it
to be honest I see someone turned off their like count and think to myself “huh, this person turned off their like count” and then don’t think about it more. if I were to think about it I feel like changing from the default can be seen as insecure cuz now you’re spending time changing a setting that at the end of the day doesn’t matter
