Bro we are beyond cooked all the ai job replacements are getting crazy. Like my sister’s company had a 1% company layoff which is a ton of people since it’s a big company. I also love how helpful NU is embracing ai even when it’s our downfall 🤩

You don’t get it, these big companies NEED to lay people off regardless of how beneficial the ai is. Analysts report their stocks undervalued until these companies do an ai layoff, which “increases the shareholder value” and is when the price begins to climb again. -a CS major
Remember calculators and Atms? Remember we run on capitalism? No one will buy products if no one has a job. In a few years new jobs will come up. AI gets rid of busy work, it’s really helpful in research for example. Dw the tech industry goes through this every 15 years or so
