Not to say you’re wrong for wanting smthn like this, but imo it’s much more fun to see my partner super often. Might j be me tho

Genuine question here, why do you want this? Can a friend not do the same thing? Or a friends with benefits/hookup if that’s an important part to you. If you like them, why do you want to barely see them? I’m asking a genuine question to understand, not criticizing.

i have always been a very independent person and need to have relationships with my friends and others. sometimes boyfriends can be all consuming and alone time is important to, that is neglected if you spend every waking moment with someone. with a relationship like that you are still getting the emotional intimacy you need while also not feeling overwhelmed. you can live your life while also growing with a person you love. it’s like having separate friend groups. it’s better to branch out.

also situationships are not emotionally stable causing issue and stress. low commitment boyfriend with healthy communication is way better

I agree with you here, I don’t like the idea of seeing my partner infrequently. Suppose it’s preference. One of my exs was like OP and didn’t wanna see me often which I couldn’t handle
