I mean you do realize low-income students get their shit covered by NEU grants and the federal government right? Not that it makes us “hard” but a lot of us genuinely do come from low-income high-crime areas, it’s not crazy to think OP coulda seen shit.
Yeah, but as someone who comes from a school that had multiple lockdown incidents per year due to outside violence, I don’t find myself wishing for that sort of environment to follow me
