guys there was not a SHOOTING. there’s no nupd alert because the situation was actively being handled while it happened. the guy fired shots at the cops. they were already on the scene. don’t live in complete fear. just be aware of your surroundings

yeah obviously it fucking sucks that all this happened yesterday and ofc i wish nupd was a little more proactive with stuff. i just think this app and the mass hysteria and fear mongering of it all is making it tremendously worse
Yeah data shows that crime rises with warm weather. It isn’t great but its a symptom of living in a city in a country with gun violence and violence in general
the details of what actually happened are still u n confirmed and my guess is you don’t live anywhere near where it happened… obviously everyone should be aware of their surroundings but don’t spread false information because cops were indeed not already at the scene and went after people heard tow gunshots and found the gun shells
