Northeastern needs to fix their coops it’s meant to be easier to get a job and gain experience yet I’m literally just a resume in a stack of thousands just like any other job…
OP has a point, NU shouldn’t be raving about their Co Op program and then proceed to over-enroll by literal thousands. Now co ops are ultra competitive here, nevermind all the schools that are starting to adapt co op programs. And now them getting rid of the 5 year program? They are quite comparable to most other institutions at that point, losing prestige fast.
Half the posts on here are either dogging on people who complain, or are people complaining. I think there’s a bit of truth to both. No, it’s not easy, but at the same time, don’t expect to land a job if you’re coasting and putting in 0 effort.
